Catalog storage location
Don't make direct changes to wherever the Catalog is saved. Always use EdgeRover to manage your Catalog. Making direct changes will cause the software to malfunction. If the Catalog is taking up too much space, you can remove or change what's being cataloged.
If you uninstall the software and suspect that the catalog is still present, these are the default locations where you can find it:
- macOS:
~/Library/Application Support/com.wdc.edgerover/restsdk/data
- Microsoft Windows®:
C:\Users\\<your user name\>\AppData\Roaming\com.wdc.edgerover\restsdk\data
If you selected a different volume for the catalog, it'll be directly stored under the top level directory. For example:
D:\com.wdc.edgerover\restsdk\data)
.
You can also manage the catalog for each source specifically. Follow these instructions to do so:
- Go to Sources.
- Under Add & Manage Your Sources, click the Ellipsis on the source of your choice.
- To remove the catalog completely, click Remove Catalog.
- To change the folders being cataloged, click Manage Catalog. This option is only available on devices.
- To register your device, click Register. This option is only available on devices.
Note: It can take some time for EdgeRover™ to delete the catalog.
