Remove a Manual Collection
You'll probably want to keep some of your Collections indefinitely. However, there will be times when you also want to delete them. One such case is when you create a temporary Collection to help you find files that you're currently working on. Don't forget that the Recently Opened widget is well-suited for this purpose, but you may want to create a few Collections to keep related files together that you need for a short period of time, such as for a homework project, a trip you're planning, or a party you're organizing.
Follow these instructions to delete a Collection:
- Click Collections in the main menu.
- Click the Collection you want to remove.
- When it opens, click the Ellipsis
icon. - Click Remove Collection.
- Confirm that you want to remove it.
Tip: Remember that a Collection is made up of references to files. Deleting a collection doesn't delete your original files or remove them from your Edgerover catalog.
