Why can I play some videos and audio content but not others?
EdgeRover™ catalogs your content and extracts "previews". You may see a preview of a video but cannot play it. There may also be audio files you cannot play in EdgeRover.
There are two scenarios:
- The content needs to be available to play it. If it resides on a device that is currently not connected (e.g. it is on a USB flash drive in a drawer) you will see the preview but will not be able to play it in until you plug in the drive.
- The video or audio file may be available but not supported in the software. In this case, you should use the "Open" feature to play it in another application.
