Removing a Source

If a device contains files that you are not likely to want to browse or search for, you may want to remove it from EdgeRover™ to save the disk space used for its catalog.

To remove a source:

  1. In the main menu click on Sources. The content view will show your sources.
  2. Locate the source you want to remove.
  3. Under the source click on . A menu will appear.
  4. Click on Remove Catalog.
  5. In the details panel click on Remove Catalog.

It may take some time for the catalog data to be removed, depending on the number of files cataloged and your computer's performance.
