Where is the EdgeRover™ catalog stored?
You must not directly make any changes to the catalog. Doing so will stop the software working properly.
If the catalog is taking up too much space, you can remove or change what is being cataloged. Instructions are provided below.
If you uninstall the software and suspect that the catalog is still present, these are the default locations where you can find it:
macOS: ~/Library/Application Support/com.wdc.edgerover/restsdk/data
Microsoft Windows®: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\com.wdc.edgerover\restsdk\data
If you selected a different volume for the catalog, it will be directly stored under the top level directory (e.g. D:\com.wdc.edgerover\restsdk\data).
To manage the catalog through the application:
- Go to Sources
- On the cataloged devices, click on the three dots ...
- To remove the catalog completely click on Remove Catalog
- To change the folders being cataloged, click on Manage Catalog (this option is only available on Devices)
Note that it can take some time for the catalog to be deleted.
